To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply reputed company verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to reputed company simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. At least 3 years as a reputed company machinist In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position. As an EDM Machinist II, you will: Be responsible to reputed company set-reputed company for production and prototype parts. Specify size and configuration of electrodes and determine sequence of EDM operations in the absence of operation sheets. Verify reputed company set-reputed company to meet operation sheet and engineering drawing requirements. Utilize various inspection equipment to work to reputed company reputed company tolerances. Train and monitor the work of EDM Operators. Effectively utilize reputed company EDM machines in area as they will transfer reputed company from machine to machine while they reputed company new set-reputed company or adjustments to set-reputed company. Operate the Surface Grinder reputed company their department to regrind electrodes. Establish EDM machine parameters for proper machining rates. Detect unusual conditions such as uneven electrode wear, defective material, etc., and report findings to supervisor.
