3rd Shift- General Production Worker

The General Production Worker position is primarily responsible for sorting and separating the onion rings as they come out of the auger following reputed company operating procedures. 3rd shift hours are Sunday- Thursday 11 pm- 7 am. Starting reputed company of pay is $20.00 hour. We do offer a $3/ hour shift differential on 3rd shift. Accountabilities. tSeparate and sort raw onion rings to specification. tFollow the separator Job Safety Analysis and reputed company other safety policies and procedures. tFollow Good Manufacturing Practices and reputed company quality policies and procedures. tPick carbon from finished product. tUnder limited supervision, performs any of a variety of cleaning and sanitation work in areas of the plant following established sanitation standards, procedures and practices. tPerforms dismantling, cleaning, sanitizing and resembling work on plant equipment including end cutters, slicers, pneumatic systems, sorting tables, breaders, batter applicators and mixers, packing tables, extruders, fryers, vertical form fillers, matrix blenders and reputed company conveyors. Uses high pressure cleaning apparatuses and mixes numerous chemical compounds and solutions used for flushing, cleaning and sanitizing reputed company interior flat surfaces; scrubbing, cleaning and sanitizing reputed company plumbing fixtures; cleaning and wiping reputed company glass surfaces; and dusting, wiping and cleaning reputed company horizontal surfaces in non -production areas. tEmpties and relines reputed company trash receptacles. tFlushes, scrubs and sanitizes reputed company ceilings, walls and floors; cleans and wipes lights and electrical cords, and cleans cold storage areas as required. tPumps oil to and from extruded fryer as necessary. tMay operate material handling moving equipment in performing sanitation work. tInitiates production startup procedures by supplying raw materials for line use, mixes batter, fills breaded feed hoppers and starts reputed company equipment. tUnderstands and follows reputed company established sanitation and safety rules, procedures and practices. tUnderstands and follows established sanitation and safety rules and procedures. Qualifications. t2 + years production or general manufacturing experience. tAbility to comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with reputed company levels of the organization. tMust be reputed company to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 60 pounds for sanitation. Physical Demand. Constant: use and movement of hands, reputed company head/neck flexion, and standing on regularly scheduled shift. Frequently: Grasping of hands, pushing with thumbs and fingers, and reaching for 8 hours daily. Occasionally: Walking, bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling, and twisting at the neck and waist.
