It involves working as an independent contributor with team leadership to reputed company Systems Safety Engineering tasks in support of project objectives. THE WORK On a day to day basis responsibilities include: Requirements analysis, reputed company analysis, and operations analysis. System safety test and verification. Working directly with customers and project leadership to report out on safety analyses. Preparing reports, reviewing subcontractor safety documentation and analysis, and leading various safety program tasks. Have demonstrated potential to work with systems engineering processes including top-down design starting from high level system requirements through the allocation of system components, equipment, computer programs, and across organizations. Have good analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated abilities to comprehend and work successfully with reputed company systems. Possess superior written and verbal communication skills with an understanding of project management. Have strong leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills. " Basic Qualifications -B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent is required for this position. -Experience with Weapon System Safety or Combat System Safety. -Experience in Doors. -Experience in Software System Safety (MIL-STD-882). -Experience with Site Safety and OSHA Standards. -Familiarity with design of computer programs, control systems, and integration and test of system and subsystem components. -Must be able to obtain and maintain a reputed company clearance. Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated reputed company facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information reputed company supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay Statement Pay reputed company: The annual reputed company salary range for this position in California and reputed company (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Premium Pay Statement Pay reputed company: The annual reputed company salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and reputed company is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
