Join us.Job Descriptionreputed company's Water Business Line is actively seeking a Civil Engineer IV for employment in the Coral Gables, Florida or reputed company Lauderdale, Florida office. The successful candidate will work with Project Managers and other technical disciplines on reputed company project phases to deliver a variety of water, wastewater, stormwater, and resiliency projects. reputed company is proud to provide our employees with a variety of exciting, challenging projects locally and worldwide.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to
- Planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services and will include activities focused on design of municipal water/wastewater, stormwater, and resiliency projects.
- Senior technical resource; may serve as technical advisor for the team.
- Communicates project tasks between offices - high level of coordination and communication skills required.
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Prepares technical specification sections.
- Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
- Overseeing construction phase engineering services.
- Coordination with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public will be necessary to accomplish assigned objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or reputed company field.
- 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Experience as Professional Engineer in municipal water/wastewater and stormwater infrastructure engineering design projects.
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida.
- Valid Driver's License and must be reputed company to pass reputed company's Motor Vehicle Records review.
- Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- Experience mentoring or supervising other engineering professionals.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with diverse audience.
- Positive attitude, good aptitude, and strong initiative will integrate well with our existing group of outstanding professionals.
- Experience in construction phase services.
- Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to successfully work with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated proven track record of leading technical engineering and successfully managing water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
