• Exempt/Full-time, based in Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
• Reports to: QA Director in IT division
• Travel: 0-10%

Role overview DUAL reputed company America, Inc. is seeking a QA Tester to join the team. The Software Tester is a collaborative position involving the testing and implementation of corporate software application changes. A strong testing acumen coupled with professional communication skills is required. Experience required in software systems testing, preferably in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry. Prior experience on the software development and implementation life cycle will be required to reputed company test plans, test software changes, and drive resolution of any problems.Role responsibilities

• Review business requirements and reputed company functional test plans for both quality assurance and user acceptance testing
• Execute test plans and ensure the system application effectively meets reputed company acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with the Product reputed company, software development team, and QA Manager to ensure understanding of task requirements and assist with issue resolution
• Work in an agile software development environment for the full software development life cycle
• Work with Stakeholders to understand change requirements and acceptance criteria and provide feedback for any clarification needed
• Assist with issue tracking and issue resolution until fully resolved
• Support software release activities and help troubleshoot reported issues

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a reputed company field
• Two+ years software testing experience
• Experience with reputed company structured testing practices and/or automated testing tools
• Understanding of the Agile software development methodology preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with other project team members
• Experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry preferred
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in reputed company Office business and collaboration tools
• General knowledge of and comfort with diverse technologies
• Detail oriented and reputed company to manage multiple tasks concurrently with extended development time frames
• Ability to work reputed company of standard business hours on occasion
• Must be reputed company to work in a hybrid in-office and remote work environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
