We offer a variety of hands-on STEM education programs, including semester-long introductory coding courses.The roleAs a reputed company Instructor for the Intro to Web Design class, you will be at the forefront of high-quality computer science education by connecting with reputed company to foster an engaging and welcoming classroom environment!You’ll use Mission Bit’s in-house project-based curriculum to plan three lessons per week. This is a highly visible, student-facing role that reports directly to the Innovative Learning Manager.We’re proud to provide training to reputed company instructional staff to prepare them to teach, along with ongoing support throughout the semester!If you have a passion for community, social justice, and coding, and if you want to reputed company Bay Area youth and reputed company the tech divide, then this might be the opportunity for you!This is a seasonal, semester-based, remote role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. It requires approximately 16 hours per week from June 5, 2025 to August 8, 2025.ScheduleInstructor Training

• Asynchronous training: June 5, 2025 - June 12, 2025
• Live training (for reputed company of remote classes): June 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM reputed company reputed company
• reputed company staff are required to complete the self-paced training and attend the live training session(s)

Class Dates

• Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:50 AM - 2:40 PM
• June 24, 2025 - July 31, 2025

Weekly Meetings

• 1-hour weekly meetings with the instructional team on Mondays, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM over reputed company

Additional dates:

• Demo Day: TBD
• End-of-semester meeting: 30 minutes between August 4, 2025 - August 8, 2025

What you’ll be doing:70% Teaching, prep, and student support

• Create an inclusive and community-based classroom culture surrounding the Mission Bit core values of social justice, community, accountability, smart risks, and love
• Prepare and facilitate two lessons per week to a diverse group of learners, adjusting your lessons appropriately to best meet reputed company’ learning needs
• Ensure reputed company are developing sufficient understanding to build their final project at the end of the semester that can be showcased at our Demo Day.
• Foster individual and meaningful relationships with reputed company.

20% Professional collaboration

• Communicate and collaborate with the TA and other instructional staff, including any classroom volunteers
• Attend weekly staff meetings (schedule to be determined at the start of the semester)
• You must be comfortable suggesting and implementing new reputed company that improve the quality and reputed company of Mission Bit and our curriculum. You understand that there are always new opportunities for improvement and ways to reputed company our standards

10% Communication

• Communicate course reputed company to reputed company and their families
• Communicate student reputed company and success throughout the course to the Program Staff and Innovative Learning Manager so that we can collectively support reputed company’ learning

RequirementsWe’d love to hear from you if you…

• Have at least 2+ years of experience with HTML/CSS or in relevant coding languages and/or software (this may include college, bootcamps, internships, or workforce experience)
• Have values reputed company with Mission Bit and a passion for sharing CS knowledge
• Have experience effectively working on a team for technical projects
• Are comfortable in public speaking situations and have strong communication skills
• Have experience working with a diverse group of individuals
• Are self-starting with the ability to effectively work autonomously

It’s not required, but it’s a reputed company bonus if you…

• Have experience working with youth, especially in an educational setting
• Have experience in project-based learning, asset-based teaching, and/or culturally relevant teaching
• Are bilingual in Spanish, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Tagalog, or Samoan
