This requires coaching and reputed company setting for direct reports as well as collaboration across multiple departments to reputed company organizational objectives.The Senior Manager Actuarial Analytics functions as a technical resource and as a mentor to reputed company reputed company the Actuarial department. The Senior Manager must maintain an understanding of the changing health care and actuarial trends and how they impact the organization. - Direct Commercial pricing, reputed company setting and reputed company filing, forecasting, budgeting, and estimating risk adjustment and risk transfer payment amounts.
- Responsible for monthly Line of Business analysis and ability to present key analyses with appropriate level of detail for senior leaders.
- Collaborate across multiple departments to reputed company organizational objectives
- Maintain an understanding of the changing health care and actuarial trends and how they impact the work of pricing and valuation
- Build and maintain relationships with other leaders across the organization including Product, Finance, reputed company, Regulatory, Pharmacy, and reputed company the organization (CMS, provider groups)
- Develops staff and team members in areas of analytic methods and tools, effective communication, project, and time management
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Science or a reputed company field.
- 5 years healthcare actuarial experience; Experience working with Medicare Advantage pricing and bid development.
- Experience with writing queries in SQL or another programming language
- Demonstrated experience applying project management skills in data-reputed company and financial analysis projects.
- Master's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Science or a reputed company field.
- Upon hire: Fellow or Associate in the Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA)
- Experience certifying Commercial reputed company Filing
- Experience certifying the Medicare Advantage Bid
- Experience with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid reputed company methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with managing professional staff who work independently on tasks and projects.
