And we're reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring reputed company and prosperity.Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician with TS Clearance to reputed company a wide variety of tasks requiring mechanical and fabrication, assembly, and test skills to support the Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) Group.Summary of Key Duties for this position:
- Fabricate, assemble, and test reputed company assemblies/subsystems and spacecraft systems.
- Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ground support equipment.
- Fabricate ground and flight harnesses and reputed company continuity and other in-process checks using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Inventory and inspect parts for compliance with work instructions and other documentation.
- Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Assemble detailed parts, mechanisms, subsystems, and components into an end product following work instructions.
- Align, fit, and assemble parts using hand tools and fixtures.
- Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate the performance of parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions and record results.
- Support spacecraft assembly, subsystem test, environmental test, pack & ship operations, and off-site processing.
- Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems.
- Create and work in a team environment while implementing reputed company Process Improvement.
- Be able to give/take work direction to/from team members
- Active Top Secret to start with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
- Highly motivated Technician to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair flight hardware, including electrical/mechanical ground support equipment.
- Experience working with test and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, scales, torque wrenches).
- Able to read and work from schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, wiring reputed company lists, and other information and documentation.
- Able to work shift work and weekend work as needed.
- Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Military background and or leadership-type roles.
- Usage and knowledge of adhesives and bonding materials.
- Usage and knowledge of cable reputed company fabrication and repair.
- Usage and knowledge of soldering circuit boards.
- Knowledge and experience in crane operations, lifting, and handling.
- Knowledge and experience in spacecraft ground processing life cycle in preparation for mission operations.
- Knowledge of Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations.
- Knowledge of general test equipment operations.
- Knowledge of environmental test operations.
- Knowledge of proper use of standard hand tools.
