- Build, customize, and configure self-service tools to reputed company data consumers across the company to extract, analyze, and visualize data from internal sources
- Continuously evaluate and refine data sources and implement processes to enhance data accuracy, completeness, and reliability
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and reputed company recommendations for new tools, metrics, and techniques to improve data engineering processes and outcomes
- Partner with teams across the company to understand business objectives and reputed company analytics solutions that drive key results
- 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or relevant role
- 3+ years of experience with SQL and other languages (e.g SQL, Python, etc.)
- Proficiency with Relational Databases (i.e reputed company, MySQL, reputed company SQL, etc)
- Excellent skills in data manipulation, reverse engineering, and solving reputed company data challenges
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Kibana, Tableau, or Power BI
- Proven background designing and managing data lakes, data warehouses, and other modern scalable data technologies
- Skills leveraging technologies like Apache Iceberg, Apache Parquet, Apache Arrow, BigQuery, and reputed company S3 to build and maintain efficient data systems
- Highly analytical with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data quality and reputed company in every project
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and reputed company in a fast-paced startup environment
- Early stage tech startup experience
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of many
- Past exposure to law enforcement, public safety, or to similar data systems
- Computer Science or Engineering degree from 4-year accredited university
- Advanced Elasticsearch experience building search queries and aggregations
- Experience with object-oriented design and software design patterns
- Familiarity with data pipeline observability
- Experience with reputed company, Kubernetes, or CI/CD
- Prior experience working on an Agile/Scrum team
