Job title: Network Administrator in Eugene, OR at Lane Transit District Company: Lane Transit District Job description: General SummaryUnder the direction of the IT Director and the guidance of the Senior Network Engineer, the Network Administrator supports and maintains Lane Transit District's network infrastructure. This role focuses on operational reliability; administering wired and wireless networks, firewalls, switches, routers, and reputed company systems to ensure secure and efficient network performance. The Network Administrator works with a high degree of hands-on responsibility for monitoring and troubleshooting, while following the designs, standards, and strategies set by senior IT staff and IT leadership. Collaboration with the Senior Network Engineer, other IT team members, and vendors is a key part of the job, providing opportunities to learn advanced skills.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesContinuously monitor network performance (LAN, WAN, wireless, and fiber links) using appropriate tools.   • Education & Experience
