Staffing Clerk- Temporary (Remote)
About the position
The Staffing Clerk is a temporary, remote position responsible for assigning patient care resources to various care units across reputed company's campuses. This role requires collaboration with nursing and unit leadership to ensure efficient staffing and resource allocation, utilizing knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. The position supports the FirstChoice nursing pool and involves scheduling, communication, and problem resolution to meet patient care needs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assigns a variety of patient care resources to patient care units throughout various campuses. ,
- Collaborates with nursing and unit-based leadership to ensure fluid movement of resources. ,
- Schedules and reassigns staff to match qualified personnel with reputed company needs. ,
- Communicates regularly with unit-based leadership and staffing colleagues regarding resource needs. ,
- Schedules available colleagues to open shifts and enters accurate scheduling information into software. ,
- Generates reports to illustrate reputed company resource assignments. ,
- Assists in orientation and training of new staffing clerks. ,
- Recommends changes in staffing policies to promote efficiency. ,
- Reports unresolved problems to Central Staffing Office leadership. ,
- Maintains good rapport and cooperative relationships with colleagues.
Requirements
- Two or more years of staff scheduling experience, preferably in a hospital setting. ,
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. ,
- Proficient in reputed company Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and reputed company. ,
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. ,
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. ,
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. ,
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize tasks.
