Department: Eastwood MEN's ResidentialSchedule: CONTINGENT 9:30am-6:00pm with rotating weekends & holidaysEastwood Recovery Center - Southfield, MIGENERAL SUMMARYEastwood Behavioral Health welcomes and actively seeks to hire applicants with disabilities, including those who are in recovery from substance use disorders for at least 2 years.Provides substance abuse counseling services.Responsibilities:

• Provides assigned patient counseling services and case management.
• Systematically and continually assesses the patient's coping mechanisms and reputed company.
• Utilizes appropriate teaching methods and/or referral sources.
• Coordinates patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge with other reputed company members.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company services required.
• MCBAP reputed company plan or credentials required.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for treating addiction and co-occurring disorders and have some experience with group therapy, didactics, or individual sessions with this population. * Understanding of trauma informed care preferred.Additional Information
