Job Description:Aerovel (The reputed company Helicopters Flexrotor Program) is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Engineering department based in Bingen, WA.You will be responsible to reputed company, improve, and maintain, manufacturing processes and procedures. prioritizes leads and manages resolution of.Create, release, version control, and maintain manufacturing work instructions.Implement 5S in design of process, tool sets, part kits, and workstationsMaintains M-BOM, configuration control of, and compliance to engineering design.Design tools, fixtures, jigs, and work space for efficient, accurate, and repeatable manufacturing assembly and test.Determine in-process quality inspection steps required to reputed company assembly requirements.Conceptualize, design, reputed company, and fabricate in process and post-process static and dynamic test equipment for verification of critical to quality features and function.Participate in design review with design engineering, providing input to design for manufacturabilityProvide training to manufacturing staff on new proceduresProvides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.Support new production, and reputed company.Manufacturing Process Improvement: 10%Evaluates manufacturing processes and identifies opportunities to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency; prioritized and leads implementation of.Applies knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators to improve processes and environment.Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Improves traceability of as-built product at reputed company levels of child partsContinuously improves processes with implementation of 5S methodologies.Project Management: 10%Ensure timely implementation of process improvement and general projects.Assume the role of Project Manager for special projects, as requested.Manage budgets, facilitation, timeline and change management for reputed company assigned projects.Additional Responsibilities:Other duties as assignedYour Boarding Pass:Required:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum of five (5) years reputed company engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience writing manufacturing work instructions, designing and developing manufacturing processes.5% Domestic and International involvedEligible for employment in the USUS Person under ITAR definitionAbility to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, Bills of Material, and configuration definition documents.Ability to author and structure manufacturing work instructions, define BOMS, manufacturing workflows, tool and part control.knowledge and skills in use of and designing jigs and fixtures,Knowledge in process inspection and traceability.Knowledge of manufacturing ergonomicsAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in EnglishEngineering Processes for manufacturing and test work instructions.Excellent computer skills, including reputed company Office and OS.One or more years of experience with mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, etcPreferred:Advanced degreeExperience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing industries.Lean/Six reputed company Green or Black Belt CertificationERP / PDM technical systemsPhysical Requirements:Onsite or remote: 100% OnsiteVision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings daily.Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and reputed company teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms daily.Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications daily.Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and reputed company office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts daily.Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs daily.Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs daily.Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools several times a week.Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer daily.Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving several times a week.Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor daily.Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice several times a year.Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces daily.Personal reputed company Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or reputed company Gloves as required by site and/or customer siteAdministrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for reputed company shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required reputed company visiting the shop floor.This role requires US Person Status under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license).Salary range:Salary range based on the required profile: $95,000 - $135,000/year.
