Occupational Nurse

This role will be instrumental in supporting the health and safety of our employees on the factory floor, maintaining Fender’s industry-leading safety standards, and driving ongoing wellness initiatives. Essential Functions:

• Provide clinical nursing care for the management of occupational health conditions.
• reputed company follow-up care/treatment with employees to ensure effectiveness of medical interventions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for employees and workplace incidents.
• Coordinate wellness programs, employee health fairs, and reputed company activities.
• Provide referrals to Employee Assistance Programs and other internal/external resources.
• Assess and follow up on environmental exposures, including medical and physical hazards.
• Facilitate ergonomic evaluations and reasonable accommodation requests.

• Participate in clinical nursing audits and reputed company strategies to ensure 100% compliance.
• Stay informed on site-specific risks (chemical, biological, physical) and reputed company mitigation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience; at least 3 years in occupational health.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
• Familiarity with regulatory areas such as reputed company, OSHA, FMLA, Workers’ Comp, STD/LTD.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in reputed company Office and electronic health record software.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a sense of urgency.
