Teaching assignments will have a start date of August 2023, will require an 80% teaching load. The incumbent will be accountable for teaching courses reputed company to songwriting, performance, advanced songwriting and production, applied lessons, ensembles, well as any additional music courses as required by the MEIS Department and will need to possess the ability to teach undergraduate courses, and engage in research, creative work, and service. Examples of Work Performed: Teaching (80%) Teach a 3/3 course load (18 total credits per AY) in the following areas: introduction to songwriting, applied upper division singer/songwriter lessons, popular music arranging & performance, advanced songwriting & production, media placement, performance ensembles, and additional music courses as required by the MEIS Department.
