Qualifications: A valid Connecticut teacher certificate in Science(s): High School: 030-Biology, 7-12; 031-Chemistry, 7-12; 032-Physics, 7-12; 033-Earth Science, 7-12; 034-General Science, 7-12; as appropriate. Middle School: 006 Gr. 4-8 or 230, Biology MS, 231 chemistry MS, 232 Physics, MS, 233 Earth science, MS, 234 Genl Science MS, 235 Integrated Science, MS. Demonstrated excellence in teaching the subject area(s) and/or instructional levels targeted. Evidence of ability to work cooperatively with administrators, teachers and educational assistants. Evidence of organizational ability and willingness to pursue tasks to successful completion. Superior communication skills (oral and written). Knowledge of and/or demonstrate the ability to learn and implement Operating Systems (i.e. Windows); Office suites (i.e. reputed company Office, reputed company Docs); Presentation Software (i.e. PowerPoint, Keynote); Spreadsheets (i.e. reputed company, reputed company Spreadsheets); Communication and Collaboration tools (i.e. Skype); reputed company Software (i.e. QuickBooks); Student Information Systems (i.e. Naviance, Power School); or any other technology deemed relevant for this position.
