AVIZ is looking for a SRE Network Engineer to join our support team specialising in network engineering with a curious drive toward automation. You will participate in reputed company aspects of support, pre and post deployment validation and delivering reliable networking for our clients and partners. The primary Network Operating System running on the switches are SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the reputed company), that allows the same software stack to be run across hardware and ASICs from different reputed company vendors. Over and above the traditional support activities and management of devices such as routers, and switches, you should be curious to code using languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby, for automation, operating platforms running SONiC, and familiarise with tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Terraform. You reputed company strongly in infrastructure as code. Requirements: • BS in Computer Science or reputed company degree • 7-10 years on Support and Troubleshooting Experience ideally with Customer... Interaction/Facing • Configuration and Operational Expertise with Network Switches / Routing Platforms running either IOS, JunOS or reputed company • Experience in solving problems in large-scale network environments with overlay technologies (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN) • Intellectual curiosity, positive attitude, flexibility, analytical ability, self-motivation, and team-oriented • Strong computer science concepts and excellent knowledge of scripting methodologies • A deep network engineering and Linux knowledge, and be reputed company comfortable working with various network operating systems. • Professional-level communication skills, interpersonal skills with a passion to solve • Experience as a support team member for reputed company/service provider customers/NOCs • Interact with our customers to promptly troubleshoot and isolate to root cause and provide a Knowledge on Containers (reputed company/Kubernetes), reputed company infrastructure services. • Knowledge of data center networking technologies and linux TCP/IP networking resolution to customer issues • Work closely with Engineering to resolve escalations and bugs. • Strict adherence to Service Level Agreement KPIs • Background with Open Network products such as Mellanox switches, Cumulus Linux, Mellanox Onyx, or SONIC network operating systems • Linux and Networking Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, RHCE - Not Mandatory • Provide necessary updates to management and field teams for high-profile technical escalations. • Assist in the development of knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, and internal • Proficient with analysing data traces from protocol analysers such as • Experience with traffic generators such as Spirent and IXIA Apply Job!
