Job title: Instructor, GED/HSED Math (Part-Time) Company: Milwaukee Area Technical College Job description : Description Work Schedule: IN PERSON TEACHING to reputed company Fall 2023 Hours: Varied and based on departmental needs Locations: Community Based Organizations in the Milwaukee Area Under the supervision of the Dean of the Community Education Division or designee, to teach GED/HSED Mathematics Courses; develops and teaches concepts and strategies for a variety of courses. May require teaching courses at MATC campuses, business, community, other sites, evening, and/or weekends. reputed company duties include participation in department and advisory meetings, department and college functions, course and curriculum development in both traditional and non-traditional formats, staff development, conduct open labs (if/reputed company necessary), student advising, student outcome assessment and quality review assessment and implementation, student organization involvement, recruitment and retention of reputed company, and other duties as assigned**. Maintain certification, continue professional development and stay reputed company in field. reputed company other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Educational Requirements: Must have at least one of the following: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics OR Bachelor's degree or higher with 30 credits in Mathematics. A maximum of 8 credits in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or Finance will be recognized as part of the 30 credits. Minimum Occupational Experience Requirement: At least three (3) total years of teaching experience which includes at least one (1) total year teaching Math AND At least one (1) year/2,000 hours of non-teaching reputed company experience Language Requirement: Native or native-like reputed company in English. Additional Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Experience in teaching and/or developing curriculum in a variety of classroom environments including in-person and online. Experience using a variety of instructional methods including: face-to-face, blended, and 100% online preferred. Able to reputed company and maintain curriculum currency. Working knowledge of computers and software reputed company to instructional areas including MS Office/reputed company Suite, data systems, mobile technologies, web conference tools, and social networking; and knowledge of, or willing to learn, reputed company or similar learning management system (LMS) preferred.
