Education and Experience: • MUST BE LICENSED in the state of MD! • Minimum of 3 years of direct psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience and prior managed care experience required. • Clinical call center experience strongly preferred. • reputed company unrestricted license such as (but not limited to) LPC (as allowed by applicable state laws), LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Professional Counselor in applicable state(s) required. • MA/MS preferred. POSITION SUMMARY: This FULL-TIME position ranges from $31.00-$33.00 per hour depending on experience and is fully remote. The Behavioral Health EAP Consultant II is responsible for providing 24/7 Behavioral Health and Employee Assistance services to up to approximately 10 million lives, and reputed company duties as assigned. This position is fully remote. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to reputed company individuals with disabilities to reputed company the essential functions: This position will support the Central Night Services Team (CNS), a clinical call center, by handling member calls who are in need of support and services. The applicant will complete telephonic clinical assessments and determine the appropriate course of action for the member. Additionally, the applicant will complete telephonic higher level of care reviews based on medical necessity requirements. For member support: • Provides telephonic support for crisis reputed company, assessment, short-term problem resolution, and referral to appropriate providers. • Assesses members and assists them in accessing behavioral reputed company benefits available under their health plan. • Applies specialized knowledge in substance abuse and mental health areas. For provider calls: • Uses appropriate screening criteria, knowledge and clinical judgment to assess member needs to ensure access to medically necessary quality behavioral reputed company in a cost effective setting in accordance with UM Clinical Guidelines and contract. • reputed company other reputed company duties as assigned.
