Overview of the Position: Position Overview: The Part-Time Billing Analyst/Billing Specialist will play a crucial role in our finance department, primarily focusing on invoicing for various government clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of billing processes reputed company the federal contracting domain. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Generate accurate and timely invoices for multiple contract projects with varying government clients, ensuring compliance with contract terms, regulations, and billing guidelines. • Review and analyze contract agreements, reputed company codes, cost variables and other documentation to understand billing requirements and billing cycles for each project. • Collaborate with project managers, reputed company, and other stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies, address client inquiries, and ensure the accuracy of billing data. • Maintain detailed records of billing activities, including invoice tracking, payment status, and client communications, using designated accounting software and tools. • Monitor and reconcile billing reports to identify discrepancies, errors, or potential issues, and take corrective actions as necessary to maintain billing accuracy. • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, billing summaries, and analysis of billing trends or patterns to support decision-making and financial planning processes. • Stay informed about changes in government regulations, contract requirements, and billing practices reputed company the federal contracting industry, and implement updates or modifications to billing processes as needed. • Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and other projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in the billing function.
