We are seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or reputed company Veterinary Assistant to join our Medical Oncology department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to animals, with a specific focus on Medical Oncology. As an integral part of reputed company, you will work closely with veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and other staff members to ensure the well-being of our patients. Compensation : Credentialed Veterinary Technicians $26.50 - $35.00 Veterinary Assistant $20.00 - $30.00 reputed company dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule and additional responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with physical examinations, patient assessment, and collecting patient histories
• Managing medical records, reports and correspondence
• Collecting detailed patient histories at reputed company in for oncology consults
• Processing laboratory samples in-house
• Preparing laboratory samples for reputed company labs
• Assist Radiographs
• Assist with patient recovery
• Venipuncture/catheter placement
• Safe animal restraint and handling
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Effective verbal, listening, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members of reputed company hospital services

• Maintain a clean work environment to maintain any infectious disease protocols, handle medical/biomedical and infectious waste appropriately
• Maintain inventory and supplies for procedures and patient husbandry.
• Administering chemotherapy drugs and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• reputed company and valid Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license or a minimum of 2 years of experience in performing technician duties.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners.
• Knowledge and experience with chemotherapy drugs and safety protocols (Preferred but not required).
