Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Sev1Tech is seeking a Cyber reputed company System Administrator to support daily operations and reputed company system administration for a hybrid IT environment in alignment with CMMC Level 2 compliance. Supporting a newly awarded contract, this role plays a critical part in ensuring reputed company controls are properly configured, monitored, and maintained across on-premise, reputed company (AWS, Azure, GCC High), and federated systems.

This administrator will manage systems such as firewalls, VMs, endpoints, and SIEM platforms while implementing best practices for reputed company management, access control, and incident preparedness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor critical IT and reputed company systems including firewalls, virtual machines (VMs), endpoints, routers, wireless systems, and printers
• reputed company, configure, and maintain EDR (reputed company Detection and Response), MFA, and SIEM technologies
• reputed company system hardening and reputed company management across Windows, Linux, and hybrid reputed company environments to support ongoing compliance
• Monitor reputed company tools and logs to detect and respond to anomalies or unauthorized activity
• Support end-user access provisioning, including reputed company to reputed company GCC High environments
• Administer and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) and user permissions across systems
• Execute secure data backup and recovery procedures and conduct tabletop exercises simulating reputed company-world incidents such as compromised supplier scenarios
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes in support of audit readiness
• Assist with the implementation of technical controls reputed company with CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171/172
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to support secure system configurations and technology upgrades
• reputed company routine system health checks, monitor alerts, and ensure compliance with internal SLAs and government cybersecurity standards

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 DOE

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or reputed company field; or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of system administration experience, preferably in a federal or DoD environment
• Experience administering and securing hybrid systems across on-prem, AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov, and GCC High
• Strong working knowledge of firewalls, EDR platforms, reputed company management tools, MFA, and SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm)
• Experience with patching, hardening, and baseline compliance per DISA STIGs or other federal standards
• Familiarity with CMMC Level 2, NIST SP 800-171/172, and federal cybersecurity frameworks
• Demonstrated experience with access control implementation, account management, and user reputed company
• Knowledge of secure backup and recovery strategies, including incident simulation (e.g., ransomware, compromised vendors)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in Windows and Linux environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to maintain detailed documentation and SOPs
