Network Contracting Associate General Counsel

• Provide legal guidance to assist in defining and developing solutions to legal issues arising in the context of provider contacting.

• Supports local and national-level provider contracting and network development units by assessing the business implications of reputed company contract language to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and contracting standards.

• Serves as a resource for research and interpretation of specific reputed company policies and regulations.

• Reviews, drafts and negotiates reputed company, legal memoranda and reputed company documents.

• Contributes in the development of legal strategies in reputed company with disputes.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting network development, provider reimbursement, and managed care arrangements.

• Develops and conducts training and awareness activities.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Complies with reputed company policies and standards.

Juris Doctor (JD) required

5+ years corporate or health law required required 3+ years managed care/provider contracting experience preferred preferred Knowledge of Medicare and/or reputed company insurance, fraud and abuse laws, state insurance and HMO regulations preferred Bar Admission and currently in good standing required Licenses/Certifications: Juris Doctor requiredPay Range: $182,100.00 - $345,600.00 per year
