Multimedia Producer - Part-Time
McClatchy’s Publishing Center is looking for a creative, versatile editor who can collaborate with our newsrooms and other teams to produce high-quality, audience-focused digital and print products. This production role requires a range of skills. A typical shift could include planning a local print and eEdition products, tagging content for digital optimization, assisting with newsletters and directing stories to a page template, rewriting headlines and other display type. You’ll work with multiple newsrooms of various sizes on any given day and a diverse set of syndicated content partners. Speed, flexibility, accuracy and news judgment are key attributes. The role requires night and weekend work. Experience working with local news content and digital editions is a plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Handle demands for multiple newsrooms and editors.

- Help identify and implement ways to improve operational efficiency.
