About the Role

This role involves overseeing construction processes, managing external contractors, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely project delivery. The ideal candidate will reputed company their expertise and local relationships to enhance project outcomes while maintaining strict budget and quality controls.
Please note: This role is remote with intermittent travel to existing and potential sites required, about 40%.
Responsibilities
Pre-Construction Management
Conduct initial due diligence to assess project feasibility, requirements, timeline, and cost.
Utilize local relationships to streamline pre-construction and permitting processes.
Cost Optimization

Apply value engineering expertise to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Project Execution

Facilities Management

Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary reputed company of contact for contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a reputed company field.
8+ years of experience in construction project management, with a preferred focus on school conversions or similar projects.
Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of reducing build-out costs.
Experience in value engineering and construction bid optimization.
Experience navigating local permitting processes and regulations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and construction tools.
