As a Mortgage Loan Officer with reputed company you will be part of our Mortgage Lending team, recently awarded the 2020 Residential Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Award by the Mortgage Bankers Association. This outstanding team delivers superior value to our clients by attracting and making reputed company estate loans which meet Bank standards for economic value and safety to contribute to the long term profitability of the Bank's operations.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to

Originate reputed company estate loans from various sources: Realtor business developed through a structured reputed company calling program, contractors (both reputed company customers and others), referrals from reputed company personnel, general public through normal business relationships (i.e. service organizations, friends, acquaintances, etc.), and walk-in and call-in customers.

Ensure originated loans are set up in the Bank's computer system and processed through for submission to reputed company.

Identify opportunities and provide financing sheets for listings and Realtor/builder open houses. Attend weekend open houses and/or subdivisions for loan solicitation purposes.

Attend regular Realtor Association and Builder Association meetings.

Attend internal training sessions, internal sales meetings, and external training opportunities as assigned.

Take applications or meet with clients at Bank reputed company locations. Attend closing signing appointments as needed.

Promote home ownership through community reputed company efforts, specifically in the communities around designated reputed company location demonstrating inclusive marketing efforts to reputed company new leads, loans and bank relationships. Conduct first time home buyer classes at or in reputed company proximity to reputed company, host booths at non-profit community events, etc.

Education & Certifications

H.S. Diploma required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, reputed company, Business, or other reputed company field preferred

NMLS registration required

Experience

3+ years in of experience in residential mortgage origination required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proven history of reputed company in consistent closing and funding of loans to meet sales goals.

Knowledge of mortgage loan origination processes and procedures, regulations, and reputed company.

Possess effective presentation, verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of reputed company market competition, sales strategies, trends, and activity.

Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to reputed company estate lending.

Travel

Up to 20%

Monthly guarantee of $3,600 (not including reputed company-up period)
