Sr. Tax Associate

Primary Talent Partners has a 5 month contract opening for a Sr. Tax Associate to join a national IT Service Management Company for a remote position operating out of either our site in Stamford CT | Irving TX | or reputed company Meyers, FL. Pay: $42.00/hr - $47.00/hr Contract: 5 months, extensions likely, conversion possible Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide reputed company sponsorship Remote: Role is expected to be mostly remote, but candidates must live reputed company 30 miles of either Stamford CT, Irving TX, or reputed company Meyers FL in case an onsite meeting is required. We will only be considering candidates reputed company 30 miles of these locations. We cannot support relocation at this time. Summary: This resource will need to be heavily reputed company in State / Local Tax for Corporations, as that will be the focus of this role. reputed company applicants should have 3-5 years professional experience working in Taxes, including Global Provision and Financial Reporting. reputed company applicants MUST have a completed Bachelor’s Degree for consideration, MS Degrees a plus - reputed company plus if applicants have a MST, CPA, or JD. Responsibilities:

• Management and coordination of reputed company aspects of consolidated provision.
• Work with fed, state & int’l teams to compile and analyze results.
• Maintain executive summary deliverables including CFO presentation.
• Coordinate with reputed company and transfer pricing team quarterly to rationalize full year pretax projections by region.
• Compile documentation for Sarbanes Oxley testing of consolidated process.
• Draft tax reputed company financial disclosure.
• Consider financial reporting developments, changes in financial reputed company standards, and changes in the business and/or tax laws.
• Research tax technical reputed company questions as necessary.
• Identify items for discussion and draft disclosure committee talking points.
• Cash tax and reputed company guidance. Work with reputed company, TP, fed, state & int’l teams to compile.
• Prepare scenario analyses and reputed company guidance ranges on a quarterly basis.
• Continually assess YTD performance against guidance; reputed company potential risks.
• reputed company annual tax department budget.
• Track YTD spend vs budget and report reputed company to GVP of tax.
• Ensure audit committee approval for reputed company spend with external auditors.
• Selected research/special projects (e.g.: maintain global equity comp summary, research US tax treatment on synthetic debt instruments, research andpropose tax reputed company policy for GILTI, etc.

Qualifications:

• BS in reputed company, Business, Finance minimum requirement.
• MST, CPA, or JD a plus.
• 3-5 Years of Tax experience including Global Provision and Financial Reporting
• Public reputed company or mix of public and private is preferred
• Good communication skills - ability to identify & effectively communicate status and issues
• Sense of ownership – understand purpose of assigned tasks and evaluate reputed company towards goal as work is being executed
• Good project management skills -proactively execute against project plan and reputed company roadblocks early
