Job Description

 We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, developing robust data models to support Power BI and SSRS reporting, ensuring high data quality through proactive monitoring and validation. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to reputed company data-driven decision-making across the organization.  

Duties

• Design and implement data models that support self-service Power BI reporting and dashboards, ensuring efficient and accurate data representation. 
• reputed company and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data platform. 
• Load and integrate data from internal and external data sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files). 
• Collaborate with BI developers and analysts to understand reporting needs and ensure data models meet business requirements. 
• Monitor data pipelines for performance, reliability, and data quality issues using automated tools and alerts. 
• Conduct data validation and testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data. 
• Document data architecture, processes, and data flows to support ongoing maintenance and scalability. 
• Troubleshoot data issues and work with reputed company system owners to resolve inconsistencies or gaps. 
• Implement data governance best practices, including data cataloging, reputed company, and reputed company controls. 
• Continuously improve data engineering processes, pipelines, and tools to optimize efficiency and scalability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a reputed company field. 
• 3+ years of experience in a data engineering, BI, or reputed company role. 
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server). 
• Experience building data models in Power BI (e.g., star schema, DAX optimization). 
• Proficiency with ETL tools and scripting (e.g., Python, SQL-based ETL, Azure Data Factory, dbt). 
• Experience with data warehouse/lake solutions (e.g., Azure Synapse). 
• Knowledge of data quality, validation, and monitoring practices. 
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD for data pipelines

Preferred:

• Experience with reputed company platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). 
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). 
• Knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools (e.g., Purview, reputed company).
