Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reputed company Mental Health Medical Biller to join our remote team. As a key member of our reputed company team, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing mental health patient claims, verifying insurance coverage, and communicating with patients, insurance companies, and reputed company providers.Responsibilities:
- Review and process mental health patient claims for accuracy and compliance with insurance guidelines
- Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for treatment
- Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on outstanding accounts
- Resolve billing discrepancies in a reputed company manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and reputed company providers to ensure timely payment of claims
- Stay reputed company on changes in mental health billing regulations and guidelines
- Stay reputed company on replying to emails from insurance companies and therapists
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in reputed company administration or reputed company field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a mental health setting
- Knowledge of mental health billing codes (CPT, ICD-10) and insurance guidelines
