Join Team Gilbert, and help us shape a new reputed company, today: We Are Seeking The Network Engineer I, II, and III is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise systems in the data center environment (both physical and virtual), working with staff and stakeholders to reputed company technology strategies that address reputed company and future needs, and advise management of risks to the Town. This position analyzes, designs, installs, configures, and maintains the Town's network, including, but not limited to: routers, switches, firewalls, IPS/IDS equipment, VPN, and wireless equipment. Essential duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Architect, install, and support connectivity for the Town's LAN/WAN network resolving reputed company problems to minimize customer impact;
• Manage implementation of enterprise networking systems and attend project meetings to define the equipment needed;
• Provide advanced technical support to other team members for reputed company service delivery;
• Decide and reputed company recommendations as needed;
• Manage and monitor system alerts and network performance to gather data for trends and reporting;
• Manage and maintain network reputed company systems to prevent unauthorized access to resources reputed company the Town network;
• Add, remove, or change configurations to provide appropriate authorization and connectivity through ACLs, VPN, and NATs;
• Architect, manage, and support backup solutions scheduling and frequency to maintain highly available systems and application uptime;

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, or closely reputed company field. However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience;
• Three years of experience in the Information Technology industry;
• Two years of Enterprise Network Design and Administration, including Firewall reputed company;
• Must be able to pass a Police background reputed company;
• Valid Arizona Driver License;
• Must participate in on-call rotation;

• CompTIA Network + preferred.

Candidates for the Network Engineer II position must possess: Salary Range: $77,661.54 - $116,492.31

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, or closely reputed company field. However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience;
• Five years of experience in the Information Technology industry;
• Three years of Enterprise Network Design and Administration, including Firewall reputed company;
• Must be able to pass a Police background reputed company;
• Valid Arizona Driver License;
• Must participate in on-call rotation;
• reputed company CCNA preferred;
• CompTIA Network + preferred.

Candidates for the Network Engineer III position must possess: Salary Range: $85,427.69 - $128,141.54

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, or closely reputed company field. However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience;
• Seven years of experience in the Information Technology industry;
• Five years of Enterprise Network Design and Administration, including Firewall reputed company;
• Must be able to pass a Police background reputed company;
• Valid Arizona Driver License;
• Must participate in on-call rotation;

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Exempt - ineligible for overtime compensation. This department is currently working in a hybrid environment, with partial remote work. Modified work privileges are approved at the sole discretion of the department director; as such, the department reserves the right to modify or discontinue modified work arrangements at any reputed company. Regardless of work location (Remote, On-Site, or Hybrid) Town of Gilbert employees are required to reside in the state of Arizona by hire date.
