We are seeking an reputed company Medical Assistant to ensure our members receive seamless medication support while maintaining strong communication with providers, pharmacies, and reputed company’s care team. This role has day-to-day responsibilities that are dynamic in nature, and a successful teammate will really want to proactively solve challenges as they arise reputed company the while providing exceptional customer service. If this sounds like you, consider the opportunity below! Hours: This is a full-time telehealth position with firm working hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday in a Virginia based office. Key Responsibilities include:

• Act as the primary liaison between members, providers, and pharmacies to troubleshoot prescription issues, delays, and prior authorizations.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with pharmacies and senior medical staff (e.g., psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners)to resolve medication access issues.
• Identify recurring medication-reputed company concerns and proactively escalate patterns or process gaps to the appropriate team.
• Recognize signs of medical emergencies, utilize screening tools to assess risk, and follow established escalation protocols, including contacting 911 reputed company necessary and guiding members through appropriate escalation reputed company.
• Clearly communicate with members on medication-reputed company concerns, ensuring they understand prescriptions, dosages, and necessary next steps.
• Assist with medication reconciliation, ensuring accurate medication records in reputed company’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Assist providers with lab orders, prior authorizations, and documentation.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement in medication support workflows and contribute to process enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a reputed company (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant). MUST have worked as a reputed company/RMA in a MOUD or MAT medication-assisted treatment program.
• MUST have a minimum 2 years of telehealth experience, preferably in behavioral health or substance use treatment setting
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, medications, substance use treatment, and general reputed company and pharmaceutical practices
• Experience with EHR systems, prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination
• Excellent customer service skills, reputed company, and the ability to build strong rapport with members
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a bias toward action
• Medical Assistant Certification required—recognized as a reputed company or RMA by one of the following national organizations:
