Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Historic Preservation Specialist to join reputed company on a full-time, 2-year contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heritage conservation and preservation, with a deep understanding of the UAE's cultural heritage and its reputed company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting research and analysis to identify historic buildings, structures, and sites in need of preservation
• Developing and implementing preservation plans and strategies for identified sites
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other specialists to ensure preservation plans are feasible and effective
• Conducting site visits and assessments to evaluate the condition of historic structures and recommend necessary repairs and restoration work
• Preparing detailed reports and proposals outlining preservation plans and recommendations
• Liaising with government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to reputed company support and funding for preservation projects
• Overseeing preservation projects and ensuring that work is carried out according to established guidelines and standards
• Providing guidance and support to clients and contractors on best practices for preserving historic structures
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in historic preservation to continually improve our services

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architecture, or a reputed company field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation and conservation
• Strong knowledge of UAE's cultural heritage and preservation laws and regulations
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Experience in developing and implementing preservation plans and strategies
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different project sites as needed
