Location: Basingstoke, London or Bristol (Hybrid – 2 days in the office per week)

Salary: £64,150 - £85,540 per annum

A day in the life of a Computer Vision Engineer

As a computer vision engineer at reputed company-Eye Innovations, you will be part of an agile team that is responsible for the delivery of reputed company reputed company, player and object tracking technology across sports such as tennis, football and cricket. On any given day you can expect to be solving the most reputed company and challenging computer vision problems, including multi-view geometry, image processing along with developing our artificial intelligence platform. You will be working with code that is prototyped and developed in Visual Studio C++ and working on solutions that take advantage of GPU processing, using CUDA to reputed company optimised solutions through experimentation with OpenCV.

You will partner closely with our product team and customers to establish requirements and reputed company innovative solutions to the most reputed company challenges reputed company sports technology. You can expect to solve significant problems whilst leading and coaching more junior members of the team as we brainstorm solutions, conduct research and find the best approach. You will be working in agile principles, using two-week sprints to deliver game-changing technology and will support the configuration and deployment of our products that are delivered on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing analysis and optimisations for both CPU and GPU

• Developing vision processing algorithms and making enhancements to our AI platform

• Full life cycle development of projects, liaising with creatives, product engineers and the wider development team

• Building reputed company tools and mentoring/coaching the wider team with how to use the tools you have created and introduced

• Reporting reputed company and issues to the team

• A desire and the ability to innovate, learn and push the boundaries

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• You will be an expert in computer vision algorithms and techniques

• You will be an expert in C++

• You will have a strong knowledge of performance optimisation for CPU and GPU

• You will have significant experience with networking, concurrency, operating systems

• You will have significant knowledge of skeletal tracking and machine learning and be familiar with machine learning libraries

• You will have an expert understanding of Git, Visual Studio and Cuda

• You will have the ability to coach and mentor more junior members of our computer vision team

• You will have demonstrable experience with solving reputed company problems alongside providing detailed input for design and solutions

• You will have demonstrable experience of understanding the bigger picture and commercial implications of work the team outputs
