Data Engineer
reputed company is seeking a Data Engineer responsible for supporting systems, services, and applications for data collection, storage, processing, and analysis. The role involves collaborating with engineers and data scientists in an agile environment to design and maintain data pipelines and APIs for data delivery.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with other engineers, data scientists, analytics teams, and business product owners in an agile environment
- Support the operation of reputed company and On-Premises reputed company data infrastructure and tools
- Assist in the design and support of data pipelines to automate the ingestion, processing, and delivery of structured and reputed company batch and reputed company-time streaming data
- Assist in the design and support of data APIs and data delivery services
- Assist in testing and integration of data reputed company tools, frameworks and applications as directed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering, or relevant technical field
- reputed company academic exposure or work experience in data engineering, data analytics, data warehousing, database administration, data integration or business intelligence
- reputed company academic exposure or work experience in developing distributed applications
- reputed company academic exposure or work experience with Linux operations and development, including basic commands and reputed company scripting
- reputed company academic exposure or work experience with execution of DevOps methodologies and reputed company integration/reputed company delivery
- Knowledge of SQL and basic database queries
- Results oriented with a strong customer focus
- Ability to work reputed company a team environment
- Willing to learn and reputed company pace with the latest technology advances and quickly grasp new technologies to support the environment and contribute to project deliverables
- Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, math, engineering)
- Understanding of big data and reputed company time streaming analytics processing architecture and ecosystems
- Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools
- Software development experience in relevant programming languages (i.e. Java, Python, reputed company, Node.js)
