Location: Texas Position Summary We are seeking a bilingual Licensed Practitioner in Texas who is already credentialed with TMHP to join our team in a fully remote role. The Licensed Practitioner will be responsible for completing assessments, reassessments, treatment plans, and treatment plan updates in accordance with agency standards, Medicaid requirements, and applicable state regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, clinically strong, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining timely and accurate documentation. Essential Job Duties The Licensed Practitioner will complete psychosocial assessments and reassessments to determine medical necessity, identify client needs, and support appropriate service recommendations. The practitioner will develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, update treatment plans as required, and ensure all documentation reflects the client’s current needs, progress, and goals. The role requires maintaining compliance with Texas Medicaid and TMHP standards, agency policies, and all applicable documentation timelines. The Licensed Practitioner will communicate effectively with clients, families, referral sources, and internal staff as needed to support continuity of care. This position also requires reviewing records for accuracy, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring documentation is completed in a timely, thorough, and professional manner.

Required Qualifications

The candidate must hold an active, unrestricted professional license in the state of Texas in good standing. Acceptable licenses may include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or other qualified Texas license recognized for completing behavioral health assessments and treatment planning. The candidate must already be credentialed with TMHP and eligible to provide services under Texas Medicaid guidelines. The candidate must be bilingual, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in both English and Spanish. Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills are required. The candidate must be comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment and able to manage deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Medicaid-funded behavioral health services is preferred. Experience completing diagnostic assessments, reassessments, and person-centered treatment planning in a community mental health setting is strongly preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records and remote documentation workflows is also preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The ideal candidate demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to complete accurate and compliant documentation. The candidate should be able to manage a remote caseload efficiently, prioritize assignments, and collaborate with agency staff as needed. A strong understanding of professional ethics, confidentiality, and documentation standards is expected.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position for a Licensed Practitioner residing in Texas. The candidate must have reliable internet access, a private and professional workspace, and the ability to conduct work in a confidential manner consistent with HIPAA requirements. Physical Requirements This position primarily involves sitting, using a computer, attending virtual meetings, and completing electronic documentation for extended periods.
