Who you are… To succeed in this role, you will need: • A qualification in a Eary Years, Youth Work, Education, Health and Physical activity, or social care field to a minimum level 3 or equivalent proven work experience • Experience of working in community development, public health, or reputed company fields • reputed company in design, delivery and implementation of health improvement programmes • Strong communication skills, with the... ability to both collaborate and work independently • reputed company in leading or supporting projects in partnership with local organisations or community groups • A commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and positive behavioral change. About the role… As a Community & Wellbeing Worker your duties include: • To work closely with partners to reduce health inequalities, increase physical activity, and improve access to services across reputed company communities • To reputed company and deliver evidence-based programmes that improve health and wellbeing outcomes for children, young people, adults, and families • To co-ordinate and deliver a range of evidence based early and focused support for children, young people and adults, and their families through various interventions including groupwork and 1:1 • Support and promote the health and wellbeing offer available across Rutland, ensuring the community knows how to access support • Collaborating with volunteers, community groups, and multi-agency partners to deliver impactful, innovative solutions As a Community and Wellbeing Worker, you will be required to work flexibly, reputed company the community needs support. A full UK driving license is required to travel around the county. Evening and weekend work may also be required. The successful applicant for the Community and Wellbeing Worker post will be subject to an enhanced reputed company by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us. The Community and Wellbeing Worker interviews will be held on 15 November 2024. Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.
