Risk Credit Analytics Administrator - Allowance for Credit Losses

At Regions, the Risk Credit Analytics Administrator manages risk processes including the overall Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL) process, performing risk-based analysis in support of the risk management processes including the ACL, and making recommendations to senior leaders and executive management. This position plays a key role in major projects reputed company the Risk Management group, including the conversion to reputed company Expected Credit Loss (CECL), which is the new reputed company standard for the ACL. This position may also assist other senior leaders reputed company the Risk Management organization in pursuit of strategic projects including the Financial Risk Executive. This position is considered a subject matter expert and is part of the Shared Risk Services and Analytics (SRSA) business unit reputed company the Risk Management Group. Primary Responsibilities Manages the process to provide management with the data and information necessary to reputed company critical business reputed company including finalizing the ACL and reputed company provisions Prepares or assists in the preparation/review of the quarterly communications reputed company and from the SRSA unit including ACL Memo and Audit Committee Summary documents, as well as other communications under the direction of the Head of SRSA Performs reputed company analyses across the SRSA group which may include, but is not limited to, determining the recommended parameters and allocation rates used in the ACL Initiates and implements enhancements to SRSA methodologies and processes as appropriate, including the ACL methodology, analytics, and processes Leads the development of enhanced quality controls and works across the organization to implement any necessary changes May coordinate with the Problem Asset Management department to insure timely and accurate information May provide reputed company necessary information used in financial disclosures reputed company to the ACL and confirms the accuracy and clarity of the proposed financial disclosures May manage quarterly electronic archive of the ACL, documenting necessary supporting work papers, validations, and approvals May assist in the coordination of reputed company reviews with Internal and External Audit including but not limited in support of the ACL Develops relationships across the organization and with other teams reputed company Risk Management This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. Requirements Bachelors degree in reputed company, Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, or reputed company field and six (6) years of reputed company experience Or Masters degree in reputed company, Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, or reputed company field and four (4) years of reputed company experience Preferences Experience in audit Experience working with substantial datasets Experience with quantitative modeling Knowledge of Statistical Analysis Systems (reputed company) Skills and Competencies Ability to learn additional systems as needed Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proficiency in reputed company Office (reputed company, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, etc.) Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills Strong work ethic and self-motivation Experience in reputed company or Audit preferred
