Project Manager- BESS
Company Overview: A leading energy infrastructure company, established in 2017, specializing in the development, construction, and operation of energy storage assets in the U.S. Backed by a major investment firm, the company has a robust portfolio of utility-scale energy storage projects and a significant pipeline in development. Position: Project Manager Location: Austin, TX; Houston, TX; or Chicago, IL (minimum three days per week in-office, relocation assistance available) Role Overview: Manage utility-scale Battery Energy Storage and Substation Projects. Responsible for project safety, scheduling, budgeting, contract management, and construction quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Planning: reputed company project design, coordinate engineering resources, manage project plans, and ensure timely project completion.
- Safety: reputed company by example, enforce safety practices, conduct Job Hazard Analysis, and ensure team training.
- EPC Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with EPC partners and ensure project delivery meets company standards.
- Budget Management: reputed company project budget, costs, procurement, and materials management.
- Contract Management: Ensure compliance with reputed company, manage change orders, and handle project-reputed company purchases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Familiarity with project management processes, including budgeting, contract negotiations, and scheduling software
- 5+ years of construction experience, including on-site work
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a construction leadership role
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for corporate vehicle insurance
- Ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel
