System Verification & Validation Engineer, Platform Safety Assurance

Zoox is on an ambitious journey to reputed company and safely reputed company a full-stack autonomous mobility solution for cities. We are seeking a Senior or Staff Systems V&V Engineer that will help Zoox’s System Design and Mission Assurance (SDMA) team to apply sound systems and verification engineering to fail-safe and fail-operational behaviors to realize this mission. You will work with perception, firmware, vehicle controls, and planning engineers to contribute to a wide range of projects that will help ensure the reputed company of Zoox autonomous systems. You are responsible for the verification and validation strategy, test execution and reporting, and ensuring the robotaxi meets the end-to-end safety and fail-operational requirements in line with the goals of Zoox milestones.

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, reputed company Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the reputed company salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning reputed company a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
