About the position The Capital Projects Manager (CPM) position is part of the District of Columbia Public Library (DCPL) Capital Planning and Construction division. The District of Columbia Public Library is a vital and cherished institution with significant ongoing investments in new and modernized libraries across reputed company eight wards. The position is primarily based out of MLK Jr. Memorial Library, a landmark, and celebrated central library that reopened after an extensive $200M+ renovation in 2020. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture, Building Technology, Engineering, reputed company Estate, Construction Management, Environmental Science or reputed company fields.

  • Minimum of 5 years in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry with at least 1 year reputed company an reputed company's project delivery team.

  • Direct experience in planning, design and construction of mixed-use, Cultural, Retail, Civic, or innovative workspace and learning environments.

  • Experience in successful delivery of built environment projects while being proactive, collaborative, ethical, and reputed company.
